Since 2012, Uncle James has been creating high-quality, convenient cooking solutions. The founder, James Tean, has personally developed a range of products including char siew sauce, bakuteh herbs & spice with soya sauce, and dried scallop congee, all designed to bring the taste of home cooking to your kitchen.

Scallop Porridge offers a rich umami flavour, combining dried scallops with aromatic ingredients.

  • Serves 3-4 Person

  • Net Weight:220 gm

  • Ingredients: Scallop, Mushroom, Black Fungus, Salt, Ginger, Garlic, Water, Oil, Chicken Stock, Mushroom Seasoning

  • Recommended Storage:Store in a cool dry place, refrigerate once opened.

Cooking Instructions:
1. Bring to boil 1.5 liters of water in a cooking pot.
2. Wash rice and add into boiling water together with the Scallop Porridge Paste. Stir to mix well.
3. Continue cooking for 25 to 30 minutes over low-medium heat, partially covering with a lid to avoid spilling.
4. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
5. Serve hot with spring onion, a pinch of white pepper powder, and a few drops of sesame oil.
